D. Nikolaou family started its commercial activities on the 3rd of March 1968 with a small shop located at 16, Andreas Droushiotis street, near Heros Square. D. Nikolaou, who had purchased steel, sanitary ware and other building materials back in the 1970s from a small shop at heros square has now transformed after hard work, self-sacrifice and commitment into an establishing and developing business giant and nationwide economic leader.
Today, D.Nikolaou continues to expand the horizon’s of metal building construction and trading by enhancing its building customization, providing better customer service, and improving products to meet every construction material need. | 2004 | Demolished the Franklin Roosevelt Facilities ad started the construction of a 16,000 sqm modem facility, todays D. Nicolaou Superstore |
| 2005 | The beginning of construction of a 6,500 sqm industrial building in Frenaros, which includes a showroom, warehouse, and steel processing centre. |
| 2008 | Construction of new central warehouses and steel service centre in kato polemedia |
| 2010 | D. Nicolaou purchased 100% of Sidiremboriki Ltd in Paphos and constructed a 6,500 sqm industrial facility to house new warehouses and a steel service centre |
| 2012 | Purchase land in Ayios Athanasios and contructed a commercial building of 5,000 sqm called Hermes Plaza |
